Environmental Quality Mark - Audit Verification Assessment Date
It seams a long time since Peak District Creations committed to achieve registration for the Environmental Quality Mark of the Peak District National Park, in reality it is only a four months. The online registration process and subsequent online questionnaire audit at times seam tedious and long winded. However, a better understanding of the ethos behind the EQM enables the assessed to see what is being asked for. Having completed, edited, edited again and added additional information Peak District Creations online audit questionnaire results finally reached the required performance. The next stage is a physical audit to verify answers provided online and glean any additional supporting information to assist with the overall assessment. Monday 10th October is the date.
I spent a decade working in industry as a Quality Assurance & Environmental Manager through the 1990's during which time, I had the 'pleasure' of British Standards Institute Auditors descending every 6 or 12 months for BS5750 / ISO 9002 & BS7750 assessments and audits, not to mention various pharmaceutical clients investigating how their packaging was put together. Maybe it is because this EQM audit is so close to home - more about my approach, attitude & behaviour that is making me more than a little nervous.
Fingers crossed - time to get on with it.
