I fell in love with Orkney in 2010 when we travelled up there in our motor home. Standing in the Ring of Brodgar, I truly sensed the magic and the history of this place. I came home to my studio and worked frantically to do all the research as well as finish this triptych for a big event. The work includes Old Norse Runes (also twig runes) and poetry. Being Swedish I felt a strong connection with this work as the Norse connections in Orkney are so in evidence.
