Storytelling and recycling inspires her work drawing on memories, journeys and landscapes.
Ingrid trained at Manchester Art School (MMU) and exhibited for some ten years in the Manchester area and the Northwest. For the past eight years now she has been a Peak District resident and runs workshops from her Moorland studio space in beautiful Upper Dovedale. Her recent work reflects her picturesque surroundings, such as the multi layered “Home”, a mixed media piece which received a Commendation at the Derbyshire Open in 2007.
Journeys back to her Northern Swedish roots as well as other destinations around the British Isles continue to provide inspiration for new work, often presented in a narrative series of pieces.
Ingrid offers a wide range of original work in mixed media or textiles, as well as Limited Edition Giclee prints. She also exhibits widely and undertakes talks, demonstrations and commissions; for details contact the artist or see web site.
All work is/will be available as limited edition giclee prints, mounted unframed or simply mounted - these can be found on the website
